Right now I am in the process of knitting a simple (but cute!) baby blanket for a baby shower gift on Sunday (I found out about this shower a week in advance, cool huh?). It is a nice bulky wool green-creme-brown gradient, I'm doing it on size 13s so I'll actually have time to block it! I figure its finished size will be about 20x25, pretty small but still useful. It may even be bigger, depends on how much I stretch it out when I block it, I suppose. After that I am going to knit a chunky beret for my friend's birthday, then a Jayne Cobb hat for myself (I told my mom and she thinks I'm a loser).

In other Taryn-related news, I'm beginning my Halloween costume! I'm going to be (a fat, less awesome) Pavi Largo from Repo! The Genetic Opera, I hope it turns out insanely badass. I am doing my mask the hard (but best-looking) way with plaster and Mold Builder. For serious. I am also altering my now-defunct funeral suit to better suit Pavi. My friend is going to be Blind Mag, we're gonna be so awesome that there is a chance we may implode.

On Wednesday (well, tomorrow I suppose) I'll be applying for jobs, I would like to be hired at Michaels but I guess we'll see what happens.

Oh yes, and Thursday is my birthday, the big 1-8! You know what that means? I can disable DeviantART's stupid mature content filter. And I can buy porn and scratch tickets and all of that sleaze, too. Win!
